  • HVAC TECHNICIAN

    Location: Houston, TX

    We’re looking for exceptional HVAC Technicians to deliver the highest quality customer experience in residential HVAC repair and installation in the Houston area. Technicians will serve Houston,Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Katy, and surrounding Texas communities. We offer competitive pay and benefits for this full-time position.

    Responsibilities:

    Perform high quality services, repairs and installations of HVAC equipment. This includes problem solving and working on their own as well as part of a larger team. Technicians should be courteous to both customers and their homes when working on systems. Technicians should be open and enthusiastic about continued learning and training to ensure Air Specialist is at the top of its field and help us retain our status as the top product service and replacement dealer.

    Requirements

    • EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification
    • N.A.T.E. Certified, or able to become N.A.T.E. Certified within one year of employment
    • Registered as a HVAC Service Technician with the State of Texas
    • Preferred two years’ experience
    • Proven track record in heating and cooling systems including ability to draw simple diagrams, read blue prints, and other materials
    • Clean, safe driving record

  • HVAC HELPER

    An HVAC helper’s duties include driving material to job location, equipment delivery/removal, warehouse stocking, maintenance and cleaning, power vacuuming of furnace systems, and interfacing with customers. As an HVAC helper, you will perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs to different HVAC systems, related equipments, and other duties as assigned. As an HVAC helper, you will need to be able to lift/move heavy objects, climbs ladders, and work at heights. An HVAC helper must have ability to withstand long hours, weather, and very physical work. Depending on work load, overtime may be available.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems

    • Perform equipment installations and replacements

    • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

     

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields

    • Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams

  • HVAC SERVICE DISPATCHER

    TEXAS GIANT looking for an experienced HVAC Service Dispatcher. The HVAC Dispatcher communicates directly with customers, vendors, suppliers and other team staff members. Schedule all field service technicians daily, weekly and monthly for seasonal preventive maintenance agreements, service repair calls and recommendation calls. The position acts as a liaison between the office and all assigned service technicians.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE SOME OF THE FOLLOWING:

    • Handle all incoming calls from customers (distribute accordingly)

    • Identify the problem by asking series of question (use term "tell me more")

    • Evaluate the customers situation and match to the appropriate service technician (based on skill)

    • Customer service and communication daily are required

    • Respond to all customer inquiries, questions and complaints

    • Maintain the daily dispatch board

    • Perform happy calls to service customers the next day

    • Perform evening confirmation calls to the customers for next day call

    • Schedule all maintenance agreement customers, daily, weekly and monthly

    • Dispatch and manage the work load of assigned service technicians

    • Provide customers with recommendation repair estimates

    • Provide customers with new maintenance agreement

    • Process COD payments (via credit card processor)

    • Prepare purchase orders for service related service calls

    • Maintain all service related paperwork inclusive of maintenance agreement via scanning procedure

    • General administrative duties maintain and distribute standard and requested reports reconcile service tickets and time sheets with dispatching system daily

    • Provide status reporting for the following (via operating system)

    • open calls

    • open estimate

    • Follow ups

     

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Willing to take on challenges

    • Proven written and verbal skills to complete all assigned tasks

    • Ability to write routine correspondence (via outlook - Microsoft Word)

    • Ability to speak effectively

    • Able to work from 7:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday

    • Ability to perform over time work if necessary, during the peak season

    Primary responsible for selling industrial preventative maintenance programs for both Air Conditioning and Refrigeration to end users in the Greater Houston, TX and surrounding areas.

     

    The job requires rooftop equipment assessments and identification. Team up with home office to manage the sales database, opportunities, customer portfolios and survey details. Responsible for customer communication to provide pro-active mechanical maintenance/service solutions resulting in the close of the sale.

     

    Ideal candidate will need to establish and manage healthy customer relationships; have professional and effective communications skills; proactive in conflict resolution and excellent work ethics.

     

    Qualifications

    • Previous HVAC/R Industry experience a plus

    • Comfortable with Rooftops/climbing/heights

    • Proven track record for exceeding sales goals

    • Sales driven and self-motivated
